I ship product in places where payments, telco and banking collide.

Product Owner across MVNO, telco and digital banking. I own the outcome end to end: discovery and prioritisation through to API design, acceptance criteria and release. I read the code, specify the integration, and turn regulatory constraint into something engineers can actually build.

Portfolio

Rewardle

Gamified Retention Engine · 2022 - 2026 · MVNO Product Specialist to Product Manager

Scale: 2.2M+ Plays · Winners open the app: 12 days vs 4 · Subscription conversion: 3x more likely

Problem. The core app lacked a compelling, habit-forming mechanic, causing lower daily active usage and stickiness.

Approach. Built a highly concurrent Node.js backend that interfaced securely with telco APIs to instantly drop real-world data rewards, paired with a real-time WebSocket event system.

At a glance Engineered a custom gamification layer that injected directly into a live telco provisioning stack. It drove massive daily engagement, resulting in over 2.2M+ unique plays and a massive lift in user retention.

uConnect Mobile App

Driving Subscriptions, Revenue, and Growth · 2020 - 2025 · Test Analyst to Product Owner

Revenue: 6x growth · Monthly actives: more than doubled · Satisfaction: 4.7 stars · Payment recovery: 40% lift

Problem. Scaling a legacy MVNO app was bottlenecked by severe technical debt, high development overhead, and an architecture that blocked rapid feature deployment.

Approach. Managed a zero-downtime migration to a completely new API and CRM infrastructure while rebuilding the app in React Native to unify the stack and accelerate shipping.

At a glance Orchestrated a total architectural modernization of a massive MVNO mobile application. Rebuilt the core experience in React Native to slash development overhead, growing combined monthly revenue roughly 6x and more than doubled monthly active users.

Unflux.ninja

Autonomous AI Orchestration Pipeline · 2025 · Builder / AI Architect

Human steps: None, feed to published · Output: Researched, cited, illustrated

Problem. Generating deep, researched market intelligence and content at scale requires massive human overhead and massive time investment.

Approach. Engineered a strictly defined multi-agent pipeline where specialized AI personas handle distinct tasks, from web scraping to HTML annealing, to entirely automate the research lifecycle.

At a glance Built an autonomous, agent-driven orchestration pipeline capable of continuous market monitoring. It researches, synthesizes, and publishes fully stylized, SEO-optimized content with zero human intervention.

UpTickets

Zero-Commission Digital Fundraising · 2024 - 2026 · Founder / Full-Stack Engineer

Raised: R100k+ · Platform Fees: Zero

Problem. Charities face massive friction moving campaigns online, battling high platform fees, poorly integrated payment gateways, and heavy regulatory compliance.

Approach. Architected a full-stack Node and Vue application deployed on a scalable Docker infrastructure to provide free, high-conversion donation flows.

At a glance Architected and deployed a scalable, zero-commission fundraising platform. It successfully digitized offline raffle operations and raised over R100,000 for charity, bypassing all third-party platform fees.

WordKnot

A word puzzle with a thousand right answers · 2026 · Designer / Full-Stack Engineer

Solutions per knot: 1,000+ · Playable: In browser, no install

Problem. Word games tend to sit at two extremes. Wordle-likes have exactly one answer, so play is deduction. Scrabble-likes are wide open, so play is optimisation. Neither asks you to live with a decision you made four moves ago.

Approach. Designed a branching knot of interlocking word slots where shared letters must be reused at every intersection. The solution space is enormous, but nothing stops you filling in words that make the remaining slots impossible.

At a glance A word puzzle built around a deliberate tension: every knot has over a thousand valid solutions, and you can still lose. Freedom to choose almost anything, with the consequence that early choices can strand you.

The 80/20 Trap

2025-08-01

Prove me wrong! The idea that 20% of the work gets you 80% of the results is seductive, especially when you're starting something new. It makes things feel manageable, efficient, focused.. Maybe even exciting. But when you apply that thinking too early, before you understand what actually drives value in your niche, it becomes a trap. You don't end up with a lean MVP. You end up with a half baked product that can't scale, and keeps you stuck doing the other 80% manually anyway, all while you won

No Fingers Crossed

2024-08-01

Preparation is key In the world of software development, quality is not something that happens by chance, success is never guaranteed, and hope is not a strategy. We don't cross our fingers every time we launch a new feature or fix - we dot the I's and cross the T's. We do the hard work, just as astronauts meticulously prepare for their launch day.

About

I'm a product manager who works best close to the build. Most of my career has been spent inside regulated constraints, merging telco and banking ecosystems, untangling legacy integrations, and shipping payments products that have to keep working. You will find me aligning stakeholders, mapping clean UX, writing the integration spec, and spinning up code to prototype when a conversation needs proof rather than a slide. I focus on building things that solve real problems and drive revenue.
